Intimate Wedding at The Gathering

Ohhhh man, these two. Katelyn and Hayden are both so kind and I feel so lucky to have captured their beautiful day.

2020 was a hard year and because of the pandemic, they had to downsize their wedding dramatically. Instead of the 150 people they had hoped for, it was an intimate wedding with their closest friends and family. And these two handled it like champs. It was a day filled with happy tears and joyful laughter. Some of my favorite moments was the first look with Katelyn’s dad. As I snapped photos, I was crying behind my camera. Actually, I cried multiple times because that’s just who I am and I’m not sorry!!

After the ceremony and bridal photos, Katelyn, Hayden and I drove to a near-by parking garage and took photos just them two. I loved having just the two of them for them to reflect, relax, and enjoy each other. We ran through a tunnel and laughed a lot.

We sent them off with sparklers and well wishes! This day was nothing short of beautiful and I’m so thankful to have photographed their moments.
